Burnt Creek Cottages are set on 40 acres, perched on the crest
of a hill that gives each of the five cottages a stunning view of the
valley and the surrounding mountains. When at capacity, Lake Eildon can
be seen stretching out below.
Hilltop position with panoramic views
The cottages are quite spacious and have fully equipped kitchens and
beautifully presented lounge/ dining areas which can be warmed by a wood
fire for cold winter days or air conditioned in summer. Private balconies
are the perfect place for guests to have a leisurely brunch, or soak up
the view, while enjoying a good book. Three cottages also have spas. Apart
from the single bedroom Deluxe Spa Cottages, all of the others are two
bedroom cottages. King size beds are found in each of the master bedrooms,
with singles, bunks or a queen size bed in the second bedroom, depending
on the cottage.
A full complement of modern appliances is provided, including CD player,
TV and video. For those who want to rest and relax, a collection of books,
games and videos is available, while a pool and tennis court are on hand
for those who enjoy more active pursuits.
It's easy to spend the weekend at the cottages but if guests want to
venture away, Mansfield has a vast array of activities from the adventurous
to the sedate. There are also a number of great restaurants in the area
for those who prefer to dine out.
