Guests have a choice of two cottages, one with a four poster queen size
bed (Ella's Cottage), the other with a wrought iron queen size bed with
overhead canopy (Savannah's Cottage). Both cottages have a large double
spa (perfectly positioned inside the main room), gas log fire, small kitchen,
landscaped garden and huge front balcony overlooking the Yarra River.
There's a tennis court if you want to work up an appetite.
A delicious breakfast hamper is delivered to your cottage door for you
to enjoy at your leisure - either inside by the fire, or outside on the
front balcony.
Also available is a superbly renovated house - Jessica's Cottage - built
over 100 years ago, with many beautiful original features. With three
queen size bedrooms and two bathrooms this is an ideal place for a getaway
with friends. It is well appointed for entertaining with formal and informal
lounge and dining areas, a fabulous kitchen with a real coffee machine,
an outdoor entertaining courtyard and a six person spa.
Only one hour from Melbourne, but far enough away to escape the hustle
and bustle of city life, your stay at Charnwood Cottages will leave
you feeling relaxed and revitalised. You don't have to rush when you leave
either - check out is at midday.
