Singapore Deep -- Wilsons Promontory Accommodation

Singapore Deep offers two stunning architect designed pavilions, in a private bush setting, with views of Corner Inlet and Mt Singapore on the Promontory.

Singapore Deep

Completed in 2005, the latest pavilion is an even more striking contemporary structure than the original. This later pavilion (pictured above) has been designed to suit just one couple. It is set higher on the property with sweeping views from a more open position. Sheer glass, steel and bold, concrete form walls enclose the open plan living space which is fitted with a fully functional kitchen area. A separate bedroom and daring ensuite complete the structure.

The original pavilion (pictured below) is suitable for two couples. Surrounded by a densely planted native landscape, with the water and Promontory view framed between the trunks of eucalypts, it really has quite a secluded, intimate feel. Floor to ceiling glass surrounds the open plan living area, blurring the distinction of being indoors and being outdoors in the natural environment. A similar effect is created in the ensuites, where the showers seem to be open to the bush but are nevertheless well screened and private. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and ensuites. A small kitchenette has all the essentials including a compact dishwasher. A gas barbecue is provided outside, as well as a two burner cooktop and microwave inside.

Singapore Deep is fully self catering. Accommodation facilities include split system heating and cooling, TV, DVD and CD player.

Singapore Deep is a few minutes by car from the entrance to Wilson's Promontory, where you will find spectacular natural scenery and many pristine white beaches. This is the Southern most point of the mainland and worthy of unhurried appreciation.
