Things to do - Macedon Ranges and Spa Country


Bushwalking
Walk along the Hanging Rock walking track. If you manage to make it to the top, you will be rewarded with sensational views.

If you are keen for a challenge, walk along the length of the Tipperary Walking Track which takes five hours one way! Alternatively, walk part of the route which passes disused gold fields, mineral springs and the Blowhole, a tunnel built in the 1870s to divert water along a creek bed to allow sluicing for gold.

Golf
For those wishing to play a game of golf the Hepburn Springs Golf Club (Ph: 5348 2185) is a picturesque course located on Golf Links Road, Hepburn Springs.

Horse Riding
Horse riding is permitted in the Hepburn Regional Park. For further information, contact the Visitor Information Centre in Daylesford (refer below for details).

Hepburn Springs Spa Resort
A must is the Hepburn Springs Spa Resort to relax and rejuvenate. Relax in the main pool and spa, or on a spa couch with aero jets providing a therapeutic massage.     Mount Franklin
    Enjoy a picnic at Mount Franklin, an extinct volcano crater located 8km north of Daylesford. Walk along the rim of the crater and enjoy panoramic views.

    Trentham Falls
    Visit Trentham Falls, Victoria's highest 'single drop' waterfall. BBQ facilities are available at the falls making it a perfect spot for a picnic. There are also walking tracks for those keen to explore the surrounding forest.
