The Farmhouse lounge
The sun and earth colours of the Farmhouse and New England style cottages
blend with nature to create a tranquil atmosphere in this setting of hillside
gardens and glistening waterways.
It's easy to see why the Farmhouse was featured in Home Beautiful.
The four bedroom house is brimming with gorgeous character, from the mudbrick
walls to the interior stone work features, the intriguing timber ceiling
and the designer country furnishings. The long rustic dining table is
accompanied by a gourmet kitchen.
The other cottages are quite different in style, looking very much like
the distinctive New England farm buildings of the USA. These include five
self-contained two bedroom loft cottages and one single-storey studio
apartment. Two have spas. The decor overall is a little simpler and more
contemporary in character.
Included on weekends is a full breakfast served in the central Cafe Lirac
(licensed). Head for the resort's Day Spa later in the day after you've
explored a few of Daylesford's many highlights, and then do it all again
the next day, because one day is never enough in the Spa Country.
Tarascon Spa Resort is less than 10 minutes from the heart of
Daylesford, in an area known as Porcupine Ridge.
