The Buckland Studio Retreat
Each Studio can accommodate just one couple, in complete self-contained
luxury. The open style floor plan flows from the sleeping zone through
to the living area, around an island bench kitchen to a dining area. Each
of these three key areas opens onto a verandah with views that literally
envelope all these spaces. Even the innovative ensuite has a private bushland
outlook.
Features include king size bed, double rainwater shower, L'Occitane toiletries,
mood lighting, LCD television, DVD & CD players, slow combustion wood
heater, air conditioning, espresso coffee machine, mini bar, compact dishwasher
and electric barbecue. Delicious breakfast provisions are supplied on
arrival.
The Buckland Studio Retreat is developing an emphasis on local
gourmet produce, with its recently opened Café. In house guests
can enjoy breakfast daily at the Café, which is otherwise open
to the public Thursday through Sunday for breakfast, lunch and afternoon
tea.
The Buckland Studio Retreat is located on the edge of the Mt Buffalo
National Park, about 10 minutes' drive from the town of Bright. In the
North East Alpine Valleys every season of the year has its attractions;
Spring, Summer, Autumn and, of course, Winter.
